Cellulite is something that all women dread, and yet most suffer from. Yet it is not a virus or a skin condition (though it may feel like one!) It is simply where fat is deposited underneath the skin layer, and because it is so close to the surface it leads to the dimpled effect that all women fear.

If you imagine the skin as a kitchen cloth, and then press that kitchen cloth into a solid fat like lard, then you get an idea of how the dimpled effect is formed with cellulite. You will see the fat attempting to get through the little holes in the kitchen cloth (equivalent to the skins pores). And the look of this is what you get with cellulite.
